Why the List You Tried to View Isn’t Here

We’ve retired a number of lists from this site, so if you clicked a link that brought you to this page, here are some likely reasons:

1. The very premise of the list may be woefully outdated—so much so that it would be pointless to try to update it (for example: “Seven Movies Coming Out in 2007 That Are Third in a Series”).
2. It may contain a number of inaccuracies or obsolete facts.
3. It may be full of broken links.

Some of the retired lists might one day be resurrected, in an updated form, on Interesting Thing of the Day.
