You&#039;re right, I missed Ecuador on the list. Thanks for pointing that out. I looked into it and there are a few South American countries that observe DST (although at the opposite time as North America): Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and parts of Brazil. These are countries far enough south that DST makes a difference.&lt;/p&gt;
